I wonder why Harris Associates doesn’t back its view of significant bid undervaluation by investing several hundred more million to top up its stake? Surely its expressed confidence in attributing significant value today to a strategy that will take between 3 to 5 years to roll out makes it an easy decision for it to punt a lot more.
