There were only buy orders for 103,000 shares at opening. If someone had opted to sell 101,000 for what was being offered they would have averaged in the seven cent range and dropped the price to 4.3.
Thinly traded penny shares will do that.
It doesn't really create an opportunity because the sell side is also thin so if one wanted to buy any sort of volume the equation reverses.
Supervised investments can't sell volume at nine and I don't think one could buy any volume at much less than that. Only pick up a few dregs from desperate and disillusioned vendors.
