I'm curious. How would inclusion of the fact of a man's death in the announcement have changed your life?

It seems to me that the company responded by closing the mine, halting trading, issuing a short precise note ahead of what I expect is a very difficult task and time. I think this is at a minimum compliant but also very professional.

What's your 'minor' and your 'major'? I read they take and treat every incident equally.

Each to their own I suppose.
