WELLINGTON, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Growth in New Zealand's services sector eased in July, a survey released on Monday showed.
The Bank of New Zealand-Business NZ's seasonally adjusted performance of services index (PSI) fell 2.2 points from the prior month to 54.2.
A reading above 50 indicates expansion in activity. Four of the PSI's five sub-indices expanded with the exception of supplier deliveries, which dipped to 48.4.
Last week, the bank said its seasonally adjusted Performance of Manufacturing Index (PMI) showed manufacturing activity in New Zealand fell in July by 1.8 points.
