Shares of bulk grain handler GrainCorp Ltd (<a href="https://hotcopper.com.au/asx/gnc">GNC</a>
soared 34 percent to A$9.800 after a A$2.38 billion ($1.75 billion) takeover offer from Long-Term Asset Partners.
These shares have now come off the high, but are still above $9-00. I wonder about the take over offer - very sudden and improbable.
