Global Health (ASX:GLH) will have its MasterCare MHAGIC EMR, a team-based, case management software for mental health, operating in 42 headspace Youth Mental Health centres by January 2015.

In addition to the 38 headspace centres it is already supporting, Global Health will finalise implementation of MasterCare MHAGIC EMR in four further headspace centres across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria over the next month.

The headspace National Youth Mental Health organisation provides services to young people between the ages of 12 to 25 with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, relationship break downs, bullying, exam stress and problems with alcohol and drugs.

Revenue from the MasterCare EMR application has increased by 33% in the first 4 months of the year to 31 October 2014, compared to the same period last year.

The increasing focus on mental health issues was translating to increased demand for MasterCare EMR in mental health services across the public and private healthcare sectors.

GLH is due to launch a Cloud-hosted, MasterCare as a managed service early in the new year which will extend the reach of MasterCare EMR to international markets as well as making it more accessible for domestic providers to test-drive the application.

MasterCare EMR is the most common application utilised by 42 of the existing 77 headspace centres nationally.

GLH's financial performance in the 12 months to 30 June 2014 continued the momentum of the previous year with NPAT increasing 32% to around $1.45 million.

This was achieved through a 16% increase in total revenue while managing operating costs to plus 6%.

The company remains debt-free and continues to be cash flow positive.

Revenues going forward will be impacted somewhat by the SA Government's decision to discontinue use of another of GLH's software platforms.
