I'm not aware of any smallcap Aussie company that has done a successful deal with Synopec. All this will do is further complicate the commercialisation of NCF technology, and even if it did progress, will mean that GER needs to contribute significant capital.

The lighting business has resorted to giving out its technology for free (which burns more cash) in the hope that they will be able to "share" electricity savings with customers over the long term.

If you have a genuinely good solution, you make customers pay for it. GER makes shareholders pay for it ...
