    Nov 21 (Reuters) - S&P DOW JONES INDICES:

    • S&P DOW JONES INDICES - IT WILL REMOVE FAIRFAX MEDIA LTD FROM S&P/ASX 200 SUBJECT TO FINAL COURT APPROVAL OF SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT
    • S&P DOW JONES INDICES - FAIRFAX MEDIA WILL NOT BE REPLACED IN S&P/ASX 200 AS IT CURRENTLY HAS AN ADDITIONAL CONSTITUENT AFTER SPIN-OFF OF COLES GROUP
    • S&P DOW JONES INDICES - IT WILL REMOVE FAIRFAX MEDIA LTD FROM S&P/ASX 200 EFFECTIVE AT OPEN OF TRADING ON NOVEMBER 29
