Hope so! But some large shareholders already sound like you can stick a fork in 'em. Others appear likely to roll over at $1.25 or $1.30. Greying bloodnut Ron Walker has weighed in and seems to think the current proposal is close enough but that a higher one might eventuate.

The $1.40 figure that's been bandied about by the Fin lately does not appear to be sourced to a particular shareholder... although UBS seem to think there's a case for $1.40 on a bullish outlook for Domain's EBITDA by 2020:
