    Can't really answer your question but bottles 330 ml cf 375 ml cans so also more beer in cans cf bottles.
    In making true comparison quantities of beer should be the same.
    On this information I can only conclude cans are cheaper to produce & may be the prefered method of sale & production.
    Transport costs would favour cans as they are lighter than glass.
    Unfortunately as a red wine drinker my thoughts could be totally wrong.
