TeTeTe not sure why you think it is overvalued. It has had consistently high Revenue, EBITDA, EPS and Net Profit year after year. Half year results/presentation showed NPAT from core ops rising 34%, Rev growing 25%, EBITDA +35% and EPS +34%. A company on a high P/E growing rev/ NPAT etc at +20% is going to be cheap very quickly if it's SP stays the same.
As for domain and its viewers... well it't not just about number of viewers it is about engagement of those viewers. "over two thirds of our monthly audience do not visit our nearest competitor" cough Domain.
"People spent 6.9 minutes on the site...nearest competitor 4.2 minutes" this is average time per session on the site.
average monthly time on site (000's minutes) 230,429...."nearest competitor" 41,290.
the more time people spend on the sight the more reasons real estate agents have to list properties on REA. It's not all about number of eye balls but how long those eye balls view the listings for.
Also they are switching from subscription rev from real estate agents to a depth model.... what does that mean...real estate agents (who market the properties) pay per listing... what does that mean for them...well they can charge the end client the cost of listing...the agent doesn't have to pay a subscription cost which would go to their bottom line instead they charge the client.
This encourages them to use REA.
I reckon REA will be $100 within 5 years so long as everything continues to plan as it has in the past....in my opinion.
People said REA was expensive at $5... go calculate the yield if you had purchased the stock back then versus what you earn today.......I can tell you it is better than a bank divi.
All the above is my own opinion and you should do your own research.
