15 September 2009 : The KarmelSonix exhibit at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) annual congress in Vienna has attracted a large number of prominent doctors and other medical and health professionals from around the world including many from Europe, the US and Asia Pacific.
The response from doctors as well as potential distributors from both Europe including the current President of the European Society and Asia has been very positive. KarmelSonix presented for the first time the WHolterTM and the Wireless PulmoTrack®, alongside production line WheezoMetersTM.
An important highlight of the first two days has been the active participation of our European Marketing Partners from UK, Italy, Benelux and Germany who all have been showcasing the Company’s products to potential customers at the booth.
KarmelSonix also has had a strongly positive response to the four scientific abstracts presented at the scientific meetings using the Company’s technology with two based on the Acute Severe Asthma Monitor (ASAM) accomplished in the Alfred Hospital and the other two performed using the PulmoTrack® as overnight or emergency continuous monitor.
“The overwhelming turnout and interest in the Company’s products and technology is highly encouraging” said Mr. Larry Murdock, the Company’s US-based VP for marketing and sales. “We have had many requests for trialling of the equipment in clinics or hospitals. The follow-up with these prospective customers by our distributors and / or directly is our next step towards achieving widespread acceptance and sales.”
