If wagovt accept plan and project goes ahead it’s going to be some very tight timeframes to meet for 19/20 summer install season I guess that goes to 28feb2020 and they have stated in past they could deploy in almost all sea states. So maybe they have time. I suspect AWEP development would happen in parallel to buoy construction. No point building a AWEP infrastructure if no energy generators. I guess wagovt could open the AWEP to more energy supplies (which as it’s a test facility initially it should have contenders lining up to have a go.
If they are like other business’ they would try would try and get as much in place and preempt the approval. In effect hoping it comes through.
If no approval then who knows what will happen... crowdfunding? Enel? DNCS (or whatever they were called), buy out.. I suspect Cornwall and Mauritius are dead lines of development too...
Wheels have definately fallen off the wagon, although no point having wheels on the wagon when the mules dead.... :/
