DEXUS Property Group (ASX:DXS) has acquired a large scale business park and industrial estate south of Sydney’s CBD for $153.5 million.The real estate investor says Lakes Business Park at Botany has more than 50 tenants and is almost 96 per cent occupied.CEO Darren Steinberg has described the purchase as a strategic investment in one of the company’s core industrial markets.The transaction is expected to settle in January and forecast to provide superior rental growth in the medium term.DEXUS Property Group reported a net profit of almost $407 million in the 2014 financial year.
