News: ConnectEast Easter tolls increase

The ConnectEast Group (ASX:CEU) certainly had a good Easter, with toll use up 7.7 per cent for April.



The particularly long Easter weekend may be to thank for the group, who owns the 39 km EastLink toll road that connects east and south-east Melbourne.



The average daily revenue for the company in April was $588,174.



It has reported that average daily trips lifted 6.0 per cent to 178,926, and average workday trips rose 7.7 per cent to 214,520.



In the year to the December 31, 2010 ConnectEast Group reported a loss of $2.668 million.
