Well, I wont mention any names, but production recovery in the time during commissioning and ramp up, and there was one month........ the month before an exodus of good management types, that the cost of production was under the receipted sales once. In this same period the recovery went from 27% to ~50% to >80% to >90% without book cooking with no equipment or on site lab (which I heard through the grape vine, is packing up as we speak from non payment of a few months to the lab management contractor?). The decline of CDU once production was commenced (leaving aside the greatest copper grade in the world) was when recommendations for staffing and keeping personnel who knew their jobs were made, and instead the now CotB refused to stop putting mates ahead of professionals by going around the then MDs' (Dianmin Chen) back to do so, while playing the GM (Mark Roberts) against everyone to try continually promote mediocrity to the top. Both MR and DC knew what they were doing but were being played by the puppet master himself. I can tell you now, its not only cream that rises to the top at CDU.
But back to the production, since then, they "must have" altered monthly production values and recoveries based on 2 or three months production values at a time to make it look like some months (when they needed ramping) were better than others (when they knew they would be in suspension or the plant was shut for whatever reason so it didnt matter)... This is all conjecture and completely my own opinion (I will not say whether it is education, professional or knowledgeable btw) dyor .
