If I knew the day the shareprice would bottom out I would wait...

    If I knew the day the shareprice would bottom out I would wait and save all my ammo to buy then. But that's not possible is it?
    The best method devised to date is dollar cost averaging into a stock - investing in instalments is what I am doing.
    In fact it's not a certainty the shareprice will fall below the TERP on Monday, though I agree it seems likely. Even if it does I now have access to 25% oversubscription at 40c which is extremely attractive and I will be applying for it.
    That's always the trade-off buy now or wait longer. If I always waited for cheap companies to get even cheaper I would have missed out on some fantastic opportunities over the years.
    We may not be quite at the bottom but we are close. Once the earnings recovery is obvious it will be priced in.
