re: News: Carpentaria Exploration 2011 AGM pr...
Boofy - wow, I did not know about their pay freeze. I just spent a couple of minutes trying to find if other companies did something likewise... 0 finds. Perhaps CAP management thought it not worth advertising it as, in doing so, they might be seen as trying to 'show off' or something like that. Shame the media didn't notice, might have guilt tripped other companies into doing such a respectful thing. Of course, many companies did force pay freeze's on their employee's. Just makes me laugh when I think about Joyce(Qantas) and his pay.
Evan - great article.
FGB - Always harder to add more shares when the company is in the red.. (for me anyway) Obviously I cannot advise you, but I have been holding a little bit of cash aside (for CAP) for when Europe makes another mistake.. seems they are somehow holding it together for now though. I find it quite ironic right now, as I see so many small caps that are extremely undervalued, but.. they will stay that way until either Europe 'somehow' fixes itself for more that 6 months, or... Bernake fires up his helicopter. Its all about the risk trade... Market fundamentals are out the window right now regarding small caps. The shares I am buying, I am buying because I will be holding them in 3-5 years. I have sold everything else. (and boy has it been hard to do that).
Back to CAP -
Main project - Hawsons (this is the big ticket item. no doubt about it. If it goes ahead and BMG opt in. well. For starters, they will have $35 million in cash + $2 million in other entities. Share price would 'logically' go to at least 0.37-0.38cents.
Other projects - Koonenberry - Nickel/Copper - looks good - but %100 exploration. (Drilling now) Broken Hill Tin/Tungsten - could be an early cash generator - but I have no idea what kind of numbers we are talking about.. but the market 'seems' to be saying nothing to go crazy at. Torrawangie - Iron (exploration in March 2012) Plus - a little gold deposit somewhere - cant remember - but government is taking its sweet time with documentation etc.
For simplicity's sake, I just like CAP because it has 99mil shares. Easy to calculate value etc. Maybe all company's could do that in the future (Yes, delusion is setting in)
IMHO. DOYR - its fun. Also- if you view this post as too positive, swear a bit to even it out.
