From my perspective, the share price increase is reflective of a combination of factors:
* Demonstrated support from customers that the product to be produced is what they want (this has occurred gradually with letters of intent over the last year or so).
* Increased demand for high grade ore generally (this is being commented on regularly in iron ore articles that appear on HotCopper home page and other sources, not just what CAP is saying. Google "demand for high grade iron ore" and you should find articles from Aust Fin Review, Financial Times, Reuters etc).
* Hawsons is located in low risk jurisdiction and has access to power, water and port. Therefore no logistically barriers.
The only remaining hurdle is funding. CAP needed to do PFS so that the financial viability of the mine could be considered and if funding would be financially beneficial.
I think the recent share price increase has been due to the expectation of the PFS and the positive results that come out of the PFS.
The latest announcement about the interest being shown is a very positive sign that the funding of the BFS (bankable feasibility study) will not be hard to achieve, further de-risking the project.
