Brickworks Limited (ASX:BKW) has reported annual profit growth but warned cost pressures continue to impact its building products group.
The building products manufacturer’s headline net profit rose 21 per cent to $102.8 million in the 2014 financial year.
Managing Director Lindsay Partridge says the company is delighted with the performance, having achieved double digit sales growth.
Looking ahead the company believes its building products group is likely to see the strongest construction market for more than a decade in the first half.
However, Mr Partridge says this optimistic market outlook is tempered by the very competitive nature of some of the markets in which the company operates.
A fully franked final dividend of 28 cents per share has been declared, taking the full year payout to 42 cents per share.
