Black Star Petroleum's (ASX:BSP) shares are in pre-open following the Australian Stock Exchange granting the company a trading halt.
Black Star requested the halt pending an announcement regarding clarification from Hawkley Oil and Gas (ASX:HOG) in relation to its investigation into its Ukraine gas operations.
On 14 October, the company announced it had entered into a binding conditional term sheet for the purchase of Hawkley Oil’s Ukraine oil and gas operations.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Monday 24th November 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
