You are likely to get sacked back but what percentage... who knows.
Current holders can take a punt and sell part of their stock to fund the spp and lock in some profit...
And it is true.. been part of these spp many times and generally all are at a profit because you can send off your money a day before the offer is due and if the spp price is generally lower at that point in time you will profit from it
