Three thoughts spring to mind that could be the essence of the ASX query:

1. Explain clearly WTF your sampling protocols were from the recently announced surface sampling (eg: what was sampled and what wasn't).
2. Show us your sample integrity/chain of custody from the recently announced surface sampling.
3. Some sort of enquiry about elaborating on the assay techniques used etc etc with a clear quantity flowchart about what went where as regards to sample and sub-sample comminution and when to which methods.

If these sort of technical queries such as these came out of the ASX I would be interested as to what the ASX query actually asks, I can't understand why these queries can't be made public when a company goes into a trading halt, anyway I have heard anecdotal evidence that the ASX does not have a lot of expertise and specialist knowledge on hand.

All speculation and tea-leave reading on my part - I could be completely off the mark and it could be something else entirely.
