- "Decided to recognise a further impairment in respect of the aquila investment of $73 million (pre-tax)"
- Says above-rail coal tonnages for FY 2016 of 206.8 million tonnes
- Underlying EBIT for FY 2016 is expected to be, subject to audit, $871 million
- June quarter coal production 53.0 million tonnes
- June quarter iron ore production 5.2 million tonnes
- Above-rail volumes stable in Q4, reflects high contract rate utilisation rate
of 96% for coal & in excess of 100% for iron ore
- Proposes reduction of about 120 leadership positions in operations,
representing approximately 20% of management roles
