Auckland International Airport Limited (ASX:AIA) has reported traffic growth, the expansion of an export business at its airport and a new deal between New Zealand and China.
The company says international passenger volumes lifted 6.3 per cent last month on the back of growth across all regions.
Chinese visitor arrivals surged 45.1 per cent in October as China Southern Airlines increased seat capacity.
The company has also revealed CEVA Logistics plans to almost double the size of its existing facility at Auckland Airport’s business district.
The developments come after the company yesterday welcomed an increase in air service access rights with China.
Auckland International Airport reported a net profit of $200.6 million in the 2014 financial year.
