Some weekend reading...this piece is on revenue/spend growth in the US. Sensibly, they also factor in the fact that advertising will become less expensive along the way, otherwise the figures would be even higher.

"Program Buying To Support $28 Bil For Display Media In 2017"

A 17% Annual Growth Rate is pretty great for any industry.

"Analysts attribute several factors to the double-digit growth, like the rise of programmatic buying technologies, along with rich media and video options. Forrester Analyst Joanna O'Connell explains that U.S. interactive display media will grow from $12.7 billion in 2012 to $28 billion in 2017, an average compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17%, compared with offline at 1.1%."

Webfirm/Adslot are only in the baby-stages of US exposure so there'll be a huge amount of work to do in growing the business, particularly as it's so mega-competitive for a slice of the pie there.

Having had their platform on display last week at the annual Pubcon event and joining the networking scene with other advertisers etc was a good idea. Now everyone there knows who Adslot are.

This is the Pubcon link:- http://www.pubcon.com/pubcon-vegas-2012
Right side of the page has their Twitter feed which will offer lots of further links to see what was going on incl opinions in the advertising world.

Nice weekend all and hopefully we'll have the results out around end of the week and an update since year-end on new sign-ups plus a statement from the new CEO.
