Seems to me that in looking at macro devastation that half-metre satellite images are sufficient in the short term. Nearmap 5cm stuff is in a different class altogether - although having your finger in this unfortunate pie is worthwhile to the extent that the relevant people can see that you can produce better imagery than the others.
