    Just what is the correlation between market cap & profitability? Plenty of highly valued unprofitable tech stocks on the world stage.

    NEA have a profitable domestic business. They are currently booking a loss due to a decision to enter the vastly larger US market. The size of the opportunity justifies the current cash burn.

    Medium-term spending is required for long-term growth.
