Amcor Limited (ASX:AMC)will acquire two million shares on-market to satisfy its employee share plan obligations.
In a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange, the packaging company says it will buy the shares over the next several weeks.
The group says employee share plans have been previously disclosed to the market.
The news comes after the company posted a rise in full year profit and forecast earnings growth ahead.
Amcor generated a net profit of $628.4 million in fiscal 2013.
