Aristocrat misses earnings estimates
Aristocrat seems to have missed earnings estimates despite a slight rise in profit.
Interim net profit of $256.6m was up 2.8pc year on year but EPS of $0.401 missed Bloomberg’s consensus estimate of $0.525 by 24pc.
That’s only based on a survey of three analysts, but revenue of $1.58bn missed the consensus $1.65bn estimate by 4.2pc.
The interim dividend of $0.19 was slightly above the $0.17 consensus estimate.
Shares may struggle today after rising 17pc year to date.
That said, the company says it expects double-digit NPATA profit growth to continue in the fiscal year ending September.
