You’re right. Statements can and do change. Although politically, it is increasingly difficult to back shale for the Conservatives, considering they’re the only party, with unrest growing in the ranks.
And you may like to question why one of Cuadrilla’s two directors has/is leaving for elsewhere, to an undisclosed location. They don’t seem confident of changing the system they helped design, agreed to and championed until they realised they couldn’t work within it.
