Also the reduction of demand on health resources goes beyond the dollar value - while TAVR devices make the procedure more expensive that the conventional surgical approach, the gains in procedure cost and hospital stay (to name two impacts) not to mention improved outcomes and reduced compications makes it a very cost comparable alternative - but to free up hospital beds............that is the winner...........
