Yes, I too have horrible memories of those days when I sat up most nights waiting for the great news that oil had been discovered off Sydney. Watching the movements of the oil rig on the internet, drinking down all the announcements and drill updates like they were liquid gold, only to find at the bottom of the hole was DUST!!
Perfect Storm. A share consolidation was also being done at the same time and I woke up one morning to find not only was the hole empty but I had a huge number less shares than the day before due to the consolidation BUT THE SHARE PRICE HADN'T MOVED UP ACCORDINGLY. Did all my money big time.
I also have a drawer load of MDS which via the latest announcement now virtually have no hope seeing as what was once touted as a terrific medical opportunity has been "indefinitely" shelved.
Thought I couldn't do worse so I moved what money I had left in to NGE. Lucky me!
