Hotfire why is it all the articles I have reads [about eight] which write about the EGM last week all get it wrong.
I don't mean their opinion sentences like "rogue ROC shareholders" etc., no I mean the results of the actual factual vote.
This AFR article was not happy with earlier falsehoods stating 46% of those who voted, voted FOR the resolution, no instead they went all out and fabricated "a fifth of its shareholders who recently lost a battle"
The announcement to the ASX is easy to find it was ann'ed the same day as the EGM and can be read at asx.com.au so I suggest a few of the journos and posters reads it because it clearly states that of those who voted 51.15% voted FOR the resolution and in total approx. 488 million voted out of approx. 678 million shareholders according to Commsec for 2013.
So if 247,922,566 votes FOR is not more than 15% of Roc's s'holders then I am a monkey's uncle.
AGAINST was 236,732,878 and approx. 3.434,072 voters abstained from voting.
