Well good to see Argus is still open for business!
Good announcement today (shown below). I think they have just upgraded Cornerstone so the fact that they have signed a new UK client, and this is the first phase of a wider rollout, is good news.
The market isnt interested in ASV at the best of times, let alone when the market is being sold off.. so I don’t expect any interest today. But I do still like this company. They have a great set of products in a growing industry, and hopefully can put the poor UK performance of the last 18 months behind them.
Given they have a new sales partner in the UK it’s a good start.

Cornerstone Sale to the United Kingdom
Argus Solutions Ltd (ASV) is pleased to inform the market it has received its first order for its new Cornerstone product from the United Kingdom. The order, worth more than $65,000 is being installed as the first phase (up to ten sites) of an anticipated wider rollout for Time Capture.
The Time Capture component of Cornerstone makes use of one of the inherent capabilities of iris recognition, that being the ability to irrefutably prove a person has attended a work site. The use of Cornerstone in this way was first implemented in 2007 in Australia, that deployment proving the business model, based on savings in salaries not paid to ghost employees, as well as identifying potential illegal workers, is a valid and robust model. The product has also been evaluated as a means of establishing that correctly qualified and trained staff are on a work site, an essential part of a company being compliant with OH&S requirements.
Argus is working with a company which is a new sales partner in the United Kingdom. This company has worked in the time capture and biometric market for about ten years. The current order is for one of their existing clients who anticipates, subject to the success of this initial phase, a wider rollout across more than forty sites.
