georgiou, I wondered this myself but then again its probably not as easy as it sounds.
For example they have to take some of the figures out and then reword the announcement without hinting at any of the numbers that the ASX won't let be exposed to the market.
This would probably take time to edit and check, and they have given themselves a few days so as not to rush anything.
I will very much be surprised if HDG drops any more than 5% because of the retractment, and in fact it wouldn't surprise me if the market warms even more to the stock.
When you look at what AFR have done, and then look at HDG, the potential here is really compelling! When it comes to coal, Botswana is a pretty good place to be working in right now.
