new to stock

I am looking to invest into this company on the recommendation of a friend (who loves this gold producer space). I have done some preliminary research and just want to clarify the relationship with GGG in London - I understand a JV and also noted that AZX owns some shares in their financial report? Then the posts on HC mention the London exchange and the GGG share price and that AZX should be tracking this price - can comeone explain why? I had a look this morning (not sure when London closes as never had to refer to this exchange before) but price was 12.50p giving an AUD of about 53cents based on the way HC posters have calculated before and on Pound rate of $0.618913?

Noted the rights issue so assume have any enough cash at the moment.

Finally I noted the share price has dropped from a high of $2 to low teens - can anyone shed some light on this.
