Your post on the qan about private equity has to be noted here. Grantham makes the same assertions. I agree with them.
Also a point, an article in the smh: "Four blue chips in race to top $100" - I find this story to be the erratic mood we are in. Calling for share splits to help the price becasue people's mentality of buying a cent security rather than looking at the underlying earnings of the business regardless of price just shows how emotion plays a part in this show. And the sad part is, it is a widely held view for reasons that are beyond me.
