G'day gents.

You have probably seen the Argo results today.
If you have not started with Argo, consider doing it now.
(I have multiple ARG accounts, family members, SMSF - this means I get to participate in the bi-annual $2,500 SPP - this takes care of a lot of investment capital in an efficient hassle free way).

Regarding the results, note :

1) The June NTA announcement lists Rinker as a holding, but July doesnt. This means that they will realise CGT in the 2007-2008 FY, and there will certainly be a substantial LIC CG dividend this time next year (I assume that you guys understand what I am talking about).
2) This years dividend includes a 2c LIC CG dividend. Consider getting into ARG, if not already in, before 14 August to be eligible for the dividend and SPP
3) Following the rights issue, they are noew sitting on $400 million cash, which it appears they will be able to invest in a buyers market
4) Note that they have considerably ramped up their resources holdings during the year.
