Last december or thereabouts, I mentioned a nyse company stock ticker FRO. Frontline Ltd. (Frontline) is engaged primarily in the ownership and operation of oil tankers, including oil/bulk/ore (OBO) carriers. The Company operates tankers of two sizes: very large crude carriers (VLCCs), which are between 200,000 and 320,000 deadweight tons, and Suezmaxes, which are vessels between 120,000 and 170,000 deadweight tons. Frontline's tanker fleet consists of 30 VLCCs and 28 Suezmax tankers, of which eight are Suezmax OBOs and one Aframax tanker. In addition, the Company owns two 1,700 twenty-foot-equivalent units (TEU) containerships. Frontline also charters in ten VLCCs and three Suezmax tankers from third parties. The Company operates through subsidiaries and partnerships located in the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, the Isle of Man, Liberia, Norway, Marshall Islands, Cyprus and Singapore. Frontline is also involved in the charter, purchase and sale of vessels. The stock now is trading at 51.90 at a yield of 14.08%. The stock at dec/jan was 28-29.

Another interesting stock is BAM (Brookfield Asset Management). Take a look at this company. Very solid and very disciplined. It compliments Berkshire Hathaway if you own it in your portfolio as a buy and hold for a period forever.
