CEO, there is a reason DOA have not signed off on Condisoil after all approvals were given. We know this crap fertilizer which is imported from China is basically very similar to Condisoil. (Refer Dr Looi's excellent posts from research on other threads). Why would a country import a product when a very similar product is available locally. Import substitution would be very positive for Malaysian economy, at least most countries and economists would view it that way.
The question then must be asked as to why DOA final signature was not forthcoming after all approvals were received?

I wont suggest a reason as you can no doubt work that our for yourself. As a suggestion however one of our colleagues who was born in Malaysia and has family involved in the fertilizer industry in Malaysia suggested the fert industry is controlled by the Triads. This is only hearsay as far as I am concerned but does provide an explanation of sorts for the very strange decision making and withholding of final consent for Condisoil.
Being a legal, ethical and law abiding corporate citizen I doubt Lynas would be offering a brown bag for the all important signature?
