Going forward:
Clearly Minister Yeo Bee Yin has a firm mindset against Lynas and she has maintained it for years. She has seek the best possible recourse and response she can as of this date find. All that is left for her is the emotional appeal she can try to apply. And as @ausheds brief news interview clip showed she is hurting. Hurting the likes of "if I step on a crack I'll hurt my political mother's back.
What we need now is a father that Dr. M appears not to be who can tell her little young daughter it's okay to be wrong sometimes and I'll talk to you mama.
