Members, we are very excited to confirm our updated site design will become the default landing page from this coming weekend when you log in.
We have had lots of excellent constructive feedback from those that participated in the soft launch of the site and we listened to what you had to say. The HotCopper team has worked very hard to make a number of changes to respond to that feedback which we think makes a big difference to how you find the new site, and are sure most will agree.
It is not the end of our work of course, we will continue to listen to your feedback and make more changes and improvements to ensure we deliver the best, free forum to Australian investors. You can continue to send feedback to us at
[email protected] but please ensure you have tried the new site for at least a few days before sending feedback unless it's for bugs.
We will have one thread open for queries and anything that needs to be fixed, so please monitor the ‘feedback forum’ for that thread, and don’t start multiple ones, as the moderators will need to keep things tidy.
You will be seeing more information about your stocks, more news, more data, but with the forum remaining in a very similar format.
The new site allows us to deliver more to a wider investor audience, supported by an improved, more responsive platform to reflect our own future growth and identity.
The current HotCopper design will still be available for a while for those that are not ready to make the full time switch, and an “old HC” button will be there for you to quickly change view, located at page end.
We look forward to seeing you all in the new site, and hope you will take some deep breaths and allow yourself to look around and work on getting used to any changes, as that will make it easier for you when “Old HotCopper” is physically closed at some time in the not too distant future.
Thanks all.
