I'm not sure companies care too much who owns their shares to be honest. Once shares have been issued by the organisation they cease to be a concern to that organisation. After all, they get no benefit with on going share trading.
The value of the share itself depends on a lot of things mostly to do with the organisations products and performance - not how big individual share holdings are
