Am I missing something here? The microplate shown in the picture on blog is a standard 96 well microtiterplate. This is what is already used in the 2G and 3G products.
3 of the supposed advantages of this patent (see below) relate to standard microtiter plates and hence the existing products.
microplate hardware is common and generic; manufacturing and hardware costs for microplate assays are reduced; high degree of automation makes it more attractive to the labs.
Therefore these advantages have nothing to do with the patent.
Be careful. Mis-information like this will reduce the credibility of the blog.
