Well, lets see how it goes, if it turns out right then it will progress and be researched further. He is going to be right in the short term, because the down turn has arrived and we will see the oceans much cooler by the end of the year. And that will continue int he years ahead because the AMO going cold will also add to the cooling.
That doesn't mean his theory is right, but it will appear right. We will need to wait a while and check it once we see the next Super Nino.
