Simon Moore from Benchmark Minerals Intelligence released an updated chart for lithium carbonate and hydroxide prices for Dec 2018. What is clear is that the 2018 Chinese prices were unrealistic and were trading artificially well above the rest of the world. They have since converged with the Ex-China prices. At present battery quality Lithium carbonate trades around $12,500 per ton and Lithium Hydroxide around $15,000-$16,000 a ton.
