this seems to be the 'talk d'jour'....at the rate lithium use is expanding worldwide I am sure they will find new and better ways to construct batteries...but saving money on lithium is not a key issue. There are a lot of processes that go into making the batteries so if they cut lithium use in half in manufacturing and then multiply new lithium adoption and expansion it won't really matter unless they can 'miniaturize' batteries....then you got something. But all of these new battery technologies are not going to affect the price of lithium in the near future.
