I just used the advanced search function on the new site.

 

It appears that 'single post view' is the only option to view your search.

 

I much prefer to have both the option of a single post view, and to go to the individual post within the entire thread, so as to be able to read what was said before and after the searched for post.

 

Also, the post doesn't appear to be highlighting after it is clicked in advanced search (so you know that you have already read that post previously).

 

....and a couple of other things I would like to add in search.......

- if you are searching for a particular keyword (for instance), could the word being searched be coloured (red) so it can be found more easily within the post.

- if you click the keyword box in advanced search, previous searched words 'pop up', could this same function be available for 'Author' (click the author box to 'pop up' with previous author searches).
