I think you are being quite hysterical re damage to farms and farming. If you refer to the NSW Govt. Upper house inquiry into gas production and fracking ( about 4-5 years ago) it found that CSG production and fracking can be conducted in an environmentally safe manner albeit if properly regulated. The Finkle review covered all this ground again and came up with the same conclusions as did the NT review last year. I don't know how many times this issue needs to be "reviewed" but the science is certainly against the alarmists. CSG production has been going on in Queensland for over a quarter of a century and still safely expanding. The Camden project in NSW has been going on for 25 years and now winding down - again with no environmental disasters. Land owners in Queensland have been well compensated and have been able to continue their normal farming activities with thousands of agreements entered into. In the overwhelming number of cases a great win-win.

So TT, unfortunately, the science and current practice doesn't support you alarmism.
